Many of C.G. Nicolay's papers (1843-1892) are concerned with his chaplaincy to the British residents in Bahia (Brazil), 1858-1869, especially his resignation from that position. The papers consist largely of correspondence, but also include accounts, agreement re his resignation, appointments, certificate allowing him to travel freely, lists, notes, notices, and testimonials. F.G. Nicolay's papers are letterbooks of F.G. Nicolay & Sons (1899-1906), as well as the Walliabup Progressive and Horticultural Association of which he was secretary (1899-1901).
